Last night I went to the AGO and was immediately drawn to Norval Morrisseau's painting, Man Changing into Thunderbird. Here you will notice one painting that is part of a series of six of his gradual transformation into a Thunderbird. This piece is so inspiring in the way that it really does show his transformation from a man into a bird. I hope to find more inspiration from his style in my own work.
OOOH Morrisseau! I was working at Elmwood Spa when they had most of his work featured there. It was sooo delightful. I was able to work during the open-house; it was such a pleasure to see so many people adore his brilliant work!
